A question for you all

I have added polls to a few of my blogs but on this blog, I am just going to come out and ask you all and you can just leave a comment below to let me know your answers. There is also a poll over there on the right side and you can vote in it but I would really like your input left in a comment explaining your answers if you don't mind.

Would you buy and read an eBook on the topic of making a living online with residual income and revenue share? First, answer the question and then tell me why.

What about this topic interests you?

Would you use the full resources in the book to your advantage?

Would you worry about how much it costs first before you purchased it?

Would you want a full length eBook to read, and would you take the time to read it to take advantage of what it has to offer you in the end?

Would you rather have a series written around this topic instead of a full length eBook?

Please answer these questions in the comment section below. I greatly value your input and will really appreciate the answers you give me.

I am thinking of writing an eBook on this topic but want to know if anyone would read it first. Thanks!

The Upward Spiral: Breakthroughs to Joy, A Book Review

The Upward Spiral is an educational, uplifting, and entertaining book of fiction. It is about three women who go through loss and tragedy and learn how to find true happiness in their lives. They go to a retreat together and learn new things about themselves and how to be happy.

Sally, who needs to learn how to please herself instead of others, hits a barricade in her marriage but learns how to make herself happy while making her family happy too.

Pat, a friend of Sally‘s, goes through a terrible time in her marriage and doesn't feel like she can move on. However, she learns to push forward with her life and finds a new way to live life that truly makes her happy.

Lenora, or Nora as her friends call her, is also a friend of Sally and Pat. She loses her husband and closes her heart off to ever finding love again. Nora concentrates on raising her three children until they are grown and then dives into her career. She finally learns how to open up her mind to new things and learns why her heart has been closed to love for so many years.

These three women learn valuable lessons during and after their experience together. They find out why they were not happy and how to make themselves happier in the end.

Although this book is a work of fiction, these stories touched my heart. I cried and laughed while reading this book. When something positive happened, my heart swelled with joy. The author did a great job in reaching out to the reader with the story of these women.

Upon reading this book, I immediately wanted to learn more about the issues discussed at the retreat. Even though the book is fiction, the issues that were discussed are real and made me curious to find out more. I would love to read more of Dr. Janet Cunningham’s books since this one touched me so much.

The Upward Spiral is a great book which makes the reader stop and smile or cry with the characters. This book can show the reader how important it is to live the happiest life they can. I highly recommend reading The Upward Spiral by Dr. Janet Cunningham.

In The Dark; A Book Review

In The Dark by Richard Laymon is a great book! This book is about a librarian who finds an envelope sitting on her chair with her name on it. Inside these envelopes are notes and money. The notes are clues for where she find the next envelope and what she has to do to get it. The money doubles in every envelope and the risks get harder and are more life threatening than the last. The person sending these notes to Jane, the librarian, calls himself, "MOG" or Master of Games.

At first Jane is having fun doing the tasks "MOG" gives her and she is loving the amount of cash she is making from doing what "MOG" wants. However, as the story progresses, the tasks get harder and riskier. In the beginning, Jane meets a man at the library and he decides to help her with these tasks. He helps her with the first one but then "MOG" finds out and says no more help from the man Jane is starting to fall in love with. "MOG" starts to look dangerous as he can get in and out of Jane's house without her knowing. He even gets in while she is sleeping and writes messages on her stomach! He does all of this without her knowledge while she is asleep.

As the end of the story comes, Jane decides she does not want to play games with "MOG" anymore but "MOG" is not going to let that happen. Jane decides she needs to get rid of "MOG" once and for all but it proves to be a very difficult task.

Once you start reading this book, you will not want to put it down until it is over. In The Dark is a great book that has you on the edge of your seat with suspense and wonder.

Surviving Ben's Suicide, A book review

I recently wrote this review on my depression blog but since I just started this new blog I decided to post it here too.

I just read a book called, “Surviving Ben’s Suicide. This book makes you stop reading and not only think about what you just read but it also makes you really think about life and how problems can really be overcome if you keep trying and never give up. Not only did I completely understand this book, but I felt like I could really relate to Ben and Comfort in so many ways. I am Bi- Polar and so is my husband and even though I have never tried to commit suicide, I have thought about doing it many, many times. Ben and Comfort both had a feeling of not being good enough and I have felt like that all of my life. I can truly relate to how Comfort felt before, during, and after knowing Ben.

Surviving Ben’s Suicide takes you through a young woman’s journey as she falls in love with a young man who suffers from Bi Polar disorder. Anyone who suffers from Bi Polar disorder, low self esteem, and feelings of inadequacy can truly relate to Comfort and Ben. This young couple met in college and share similar feelings of not being good enough. I’m sure anyone has had the feeling of not being good enough in their life no matter if they suffer from Bi Polar disorder or not. You don’t have to be mentally ill to feel this way.

C. Comfort Shields, the author or this book, writes about how she survived feelings of guilt from Ben, her boyfriend, committing suicide. This book will make you laugh a little, cry a little (or a lot) and really make you stop and think how you might relate to Comfort or Ben. Ben suffered from Bi Polar disorder so bad that he felt there was no other way than to end his life, thus ending his suffering. I am in no way justifying Ben for committing suicide. I am saying, however, that I can understand the feeling of loneliness and being “the black sheep” and not feeling like I belong anywhere. Ben felt that there was no one nothing that could help him. I truly wish Ben could have been helped. He was far too young to end his life. He had so much to look forward to. Ben was on medication and he was seeing a therapist but none of that helped him and in the end he just ended his suffering.

As I read this book, I often admire Comfort for the way she dealt with Ben’s mental illness. She tried to reach out and help him and love him but in the end it wasn’t enough. I do admire Comfort for getting on with her life and her future, learning to love again, and having children. Surviving Ben’s Suicide is a must read if you or someone you know has a mental illness. This book must be a comfort for those who have lost loved ones to suicide. I highly recommend reading it.
